L.G.B. Girls’ college has an indoor stadium and a wide variety of games and sports such as Badminton, Table- Tennis, carrom, Ludo, Yoga etc. are conducted which provides immense opportunities to the students to develop their physical and mental health, under the guidance of a skilled physical education teacher.
L.G.B. Girls’ College provides pure drinking water facilities at different block of the college and water cooler. The entire pure drinking water facility of the college has been donated by shri Anand Jiban Singla, Tezpur, in loving memory of his late wife Prem Rani Singla.
The college also provides vending Machine for Girl’s and first aids box system for emergency required.
From Indoor stadium to library, classrooms to corridors, CCTV is installed to ensure the safety of the students, faculty members as well as to monitor the different activities of the college and its facilities.
Student inside the college campus must adhere to a uniform dress code. No student can enter the college campus without prescribed uniform during college hour and examination period. Attending classes in prescribed uniform is mandatory for all the students. The dress code is as follows-

A Career counselling centre has been set up in the College under the supervision of Mala Mahanta (H.O.D. Deptt. of Economics), BarnaliSarmah (Deptt. of Political Science) and Manjurani Borah (Deptt of Geography). The centre has been trying to raise awareness among the students regarding different career options and extends Vocational guidance, enabling them to make the right choice. It is designed chiefly for monitoring the students’ academic interest from time to time on different carrier options suitable to their needs, interest and aptitude. The centre aims in disseminating carrier related information and programmes not only to its existing students but also to the passed out ones. Students can approach the centre counselling regarding their academic personal and career matters.

Girls’ College participate in a wide range of creative activities such asCollege Magazine, Departmental Wall Magazines which providesample opportunities to showcase their creative talents. The purpose behind such a platform is to reflect the values and qualities of the institution. The college magazine ‘Hayunthal’ and the college wall magazine ‘Jagriti’, is the window to all the activities of the college and is like a mirror reflecting the growth of the institution. Every student is an entity of immense potential and creativity which requires proper exploration and channelization by the college teachers. Girls’ College has taken the responsibility of conducting Open University courses under Krishna KantaHandiqueState Open University and it is operating since2017 .The very purpose of the introduction of this programme is to provide quality education and access to higher education to those student’s incapable of pursuing higher education for various reasons. The study centre offers B.A. Course (Pass and Major) withsubjects: - English, Education, Philosophy, History, Political Science, Sociology, Economics and Assamese. Its centre code is 2521. Any form of suggestion and complaintmay be submitted in a written format to the college authority through the “Suggestion & Complaint Box,” fitted near the office of the college.
Identity card is issued to each student at the time of admission to the college. The card containing relevant information of the holder, together with a recent passport size photograph must be duly endorsed by principal. The card is essential for recognition of any claim by student concerned and must be produced when demanded. College Identity Cards are issued annually. Old identity cards are to be surrendered at the end of each academic session for renewal. In case of loss of Identity card, duplicate ID may be issued on payment of prescribed fees.
Students are entitled to travel concession by rail on their way home from the college and back during vacation only.
